The mission of the Drug & Alcohol Treatment program is to help and strengthen adolescents and their families on “the road to recovery” from substance abuse problems through supportive services. These services include counseling, treatment, training, groups, and interventions. Services are offered to all adolescents from the ages of 13 to 18 who are residents of Santa Barbara County. The teens must express a desire for help with their alcohol and/or drug problems.
The Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center’s Drug & Alcohol program has enjoyed great success in the past years. Adolescents have committed themselves to changing their lifestyles and they have learned the tools that they will continue to use in order to remain clean and sober. They have also committed themselves in continued education by graduating from high school and enrolling in college.
